HRV Customs Grip Fitter Program
Help refine future HRV grip designs through hands-on evaluation.
The HRV Customs Grip Fitter Program allows experienced shooters, collectors, and professionals to assist in evaluating new grip designs prior to release.
Participants receive prototype or pre-production grips to test-fit on their own firearms and provide structured feedback focused on fit, alignment, ergonomics, and handling characteristics.
As part of the evaluation process, participants are encouraged to make reasonable internal adjustments to the grips as needed to achieve proper fit. This may include light sanding or filing of internal contact areas, relief points, or interfaces that affect seating and alignment.
Exterior modifications that alter the visible design, contours, or surface finish of the grips should generally be documented in writing rather than physically performed. Written feedback regarding exterior changes is preferred so that design intent and consistency can be evaluated accurately.
This program is focused on test fitting and evaluation only and does not require live-fire testing.
PROGRAM COMPLETION & INCENTIVE
Successful completion of the HRV Customs Grip Fitter Program may be rewarded with a production grip of the participant’s choice at no charge.
Completion is defined as the successful evaluation of a grip design through the trial fit process, resulting in a finalized version approved for release. Prototype grips may require multiple revisions. If a trial fit indicates that further adjustments are needed, a revised version may be produced and re-shipped to the original participant for continued evaluation.
This process may involve multiple iterations over an extended period of time and may take several months to complete.
If a participant is unable or unwilling to complete the evaluation process through final approval, the trial fit opportunity may be reassigned to another applicant. In such cases, the original participant forfeits eligibility for the completion reward.
This program is intended for individuals who are willing to see a test-fit project through to completion and provide consistent, objective feedback throughout the process.
This program is best suited for individuals who:
• Own the specific firearms listed below
• Are comfortable test-fitting firearm grips
• Can provide clear, objective feedback
• Understand that prototype grips may require care when installing
Not all applicants will be selected.
