These grips are Hogue’s Monogrip single piece set, they come with the replacement mounting system which incorporates an alignment pin into the fastening system with the screw on the bottom. S&W Medallions are 3/8” version on J-Frame models, These are Factory original S&W Medallions!
Fits the following Smith and Wesson J-Frame Round Butt models:-38, 49, 317, 331, 337, 351PD, 360, 431PD, 437, 438, 631, 637, 638, 649, 650-Fits the following Centennial Frames: 032, 042, 332, 340, 342, 432PD, 442, 632, 640, 642, 940-and the following models are either Round or Square Butt: 30, 32, 33, 34, 36, 37, 43, 50, 51, 60, 63, 651Will also fit the early I-Frame models.To differentiate between Round and Square Butt, measure the flat area on the very bottom of your grip. This is the surface that commonly has the serial number located on it. Round Butts will measure around 1" and Square Butts will be over 1 1/4".Does NOT fit Polymer Bodyguard models(BG38) except for models 60020, 60026, and 60027.Does NOT fit model 40 and 42 due to grip safety and different dimensions on the grip frame.
WOOD GRIPS:-This grip fits vast majority of Airweight models...However we have found on rare occasions some airweight frames are slightly longer and do not fit down in the bottom snugly, in this case a small amount of wood needs to be removed from inside the bottom of the grip.-Wood grips can be made into Top only FIngergroove or No Fingergroove (Smooth) by sanding off finger grooves (Separate Charge).
