As with all HRV Grips® products we saved the most popular gun ever made, the famed 1911, for last (Not really last but you get the idea. The time has come for HRV Grips style 1911 products. While the entry point is the standard full size 1911 it is also just the beginning, soon we will have Magwell cut and Round Heel products, along with the Compact Commander series as well. And they will both be accompanied with the fingergroove models we have sold in the past.
Please note: All 1911 grips are single safety models, It is important that you check the box in the form if you require ambi-cut grips for a dual safety 1911.
This collection is for those looking for a simple design with minimal options. To recreate these grips with one of our other distinct patterns or options not shown here you can easily use our (Custom Build Section) to make the grip set you desire, if you are unsure or uneasy ordering your custom set online you can always (CALL) and place your order. Please pay attention to the name, This is a Basic collection product, HRV Grips® Basic grip design includes a full border outline which is our idea of basic, they do not contain the ⅔ - ¾ Diamonds . Three (3) Pattern Choices: Checkered, Stippled, and Black Diamond Stipple
CHECKERED is the LEAST aggressive pattern option
STIPPLED is the standard aggressive HRV Grips® pattern
BLACK DIAMOND STIPPLE is our most aggressive pattern
Mid Section: Plain (None), Laser Logo, and Medallions in Gold or Silver
PLAIN (NONE) Your grip will be the full pattern chosen
Mid Engraving: You will receive the Laser Logo of your firearm, assuming your firearm has a standard logo - Our Custom Shadow Logo (on one or more of the grip pictures shown regardless of color) on the color YOU CHOOSE
Please note that pictures are representations with some options included, DO NOT assume a picture is what you will receive, READ EVERYTHING.
1911 grips do not contain screws, use existing mounting hardware. Our 1911 screws and adapters will be coming soon. When they are available you will see the add-on option at the bottom of the listing.
All medallions will be our 1/2” options in all of the colors listed. You may choose to upgrade the Authentic Colt medallions to the Premium Custom version by choosing the upgrade add-on at the bottom of this listing. When we have Ruger Silver Red SR medallions they will be a similar upgrade add-on. You may still choose the Authentic version of Silver Red with the standard Ruger “R” at no additional cost. Note: You can upgrade Colt Medallions to 15mm, However we at HRV Customs feel this size medallion is too large for the 1911 panels, if you desire that look you can purchase the add-on below. Please be aware that to get 15mm Premium medallions requires the purchase of both add-on options below.
Fitment: 1911 Full Size grips will fit models such as the Colt M1911 and most other standard 1911 models. They will not fit Magwell or Round Heel models
As a general rule, 1911 Full Size panels will fit all standard full size guns made by most manufacturers. You may want to measure the space between screws to make sure you have a Full Size 1911. If your 1911 is 3 1/16" between screws, then it is Full Size. If your 1911 is 2 11/16" between screws, then it is a Compact, Officer, or Defender 1911.
