Copperhead-NG Series Ruger Mark I - IV Hex Head Polished Stainless Steel Grip Screw Set. This grip screw set is made of Stainless steel in Natural polished and includes the four (4) screws. This set is for all Ruger Mark I to Mark IV, we are not aware of the screw size on the Lite models.
All Netticks Copperhead-NG screws are full thread design, this allows all threads equal holding strength. Some manufacturers choose to taper the end of the screw for easier alignment, while this does allow a more forgiving and simpler start of the screw it also reduces the amount of threads that actually hold the grips securely to the firearm. We do NOT recommend any thread locking agents be applied to these screws, as it is not necessary and can result in screw breakage during removal. The best way to start threading a full thread (Non-tapered) screw is to lightly turn the screw backwards until the first thread drops into the hole at a level consistent with the grip. Begin tightening with very light pressure and higher force should not be necessary, once you have several turns into the frame you can confidently tighten the screw. Be sure to have all screws started before you begin to tighten each screw fully.
Made to fit all Ruger Mark I to Mark IV grips on the original models. We are not sure if the Lite series uses the same screw.
