Drill holes for Customer set medallions
This option is for two (2) holes only drilled for the customer to set medallions they currently have or will be purchasing. Customer is responsible for the dimension of the hole and accuracy. Holes are drilled based on standard medallion size dimensions as noted. All holes are drilled based on fitting the size medallion, not the exact size of the medallion. Example a 13mm Medallion will receive a hole approximately 13.07mm, this is considered a tight fit and most are within .15mm to allow for expansion and contraction differences between wood/G10 and Metals. Placement for medallions are based on our locations as our equipment is set. The customer is responsible for properly setting the medallions, cleanup, and dry time. We are happy to help with a brief discussion to guide you if you have any questions.
As with all things, we do not work on customer grips. This option is only available with the purchase of a grip set or for a previous order that is still in production. This option does not include any medallions or setting materials.
For any hole size not listed there is a $90 Tool rental charge for the type bits that we use. We only purchase sizes based on what we sell, the bits cost between $350 - $900. If a different size is needed we may be able to rent it, however the total would be $110 for the holes, and the bit may or may not be available.
