NOTE: Altamont has changed the design of the Oversize Fingergroove grips! We had a sneak peak last December of these new grips and they are now arriving! All current designs are available on the new grips. Please take note of the design change. We are including an original Side by Side Comparison photo from Dec.
Bonded Ivory has just arrived in the original format and we have a limited availability of these grips. We are unsure when these will turn over to the new format.
8/18/2023 - We have just been informed by Altamont that they will no longer offer these grips without Medallions, when our current inventory runs out they will NOT be available to customize the top section or install the 15mm Medallions. 1/2” Medallions will be the only option. For full custom design please see our HOGUE offerings. As our inventory of empty top section grips deplete you will see a “SOLD OUT” message for that color temporarily. To purchase that color please change your selection for the Top Section to 1/2” Medallions.
Currently all levels are below our minimum for smooth grip sales (See our policies). You will not be able to purchase smooth grips without Engraving or Medallions until our inventory is replenished. If a smooth set is added to an order the price will default to $200.00

The Colt Python is known as the Rolls Royce of Colt's revolvers. First introduced in 1955, it comes in blued, nickel, and stainless versions. The Python's appearance is always striking with its hand polished metal, beautiful bluing and superb design. The smoothness of the hand-fitted action is still considered the best around. The Colt Python is one of the handfuls of guns regularly chosen to be engraved into works of art. Traditionally, it is also the most expensive of production revolvers.

To order our popular Inset engravings please choose the ONE PART engraving option and press the button below to choose your image, this will open a new window, add the option to your cart and close the new window to return to your grip order.
