The Colt Scout dates back to 1957, when Colt began producing a .22 rimfire single action revolver. Originally brought out to compete with the Ruger Blackhawk for the cowboy enthusiasts of the 1950s, the Scout is 7/8th scale of the Colt Single Action. It is variously known as the Frontier Scout, the Scout, the Frontier Scout Buntline, and the New Frontier (the 1970s version). Scout grips have the distinctive feature of a notch at the top of the grips where the frame is met.

Colt Scout grips come standard with Medallions. We do occasionally get the chance to purchase these without medallions in certain colors, we also order them all with Laser Logos except One set, as this seems the most requested alternative. When we do get them they will be put here and when we sell out its back to Medallions only. Pricing across the board reflects all of these options. Get them when you can. Stock Medallions for the Colt Scout are Gold, we can change them out to Silver or the Gold Star Concho Medallion. We also offer Colt Medallions in Real Silver & Gold plated. Choosing the Medallion option will default to the Standard Plated metal. Contact us for further details on our optional offerings. Grips are made in Blackwood, Rosewood, Walnut, and Bonded Ivory. Only materials shown in color selection box are currently available.
